About the artist: Douglas Danz was born on July 30, 1939. He joined the the National Guard and was stationed with the Army at Fort Lewis in Washington State, 1960-62. He was an insightful and creative man with a flair for the ironic. In 1971 Doug became a full-time abstract art painter and was successful on a national level with his work being distributed widely.
